Halloween

The sunsets recently have been very good - here are a couple of examples

We usually prepare for Halloween, but whether we have any visitors seems to be a hit and miss affair.  This year, John decided to make the house look spooky.  The 'shed', became a dungeon (cachot)

The stair well was appropriately lit

and a spooky light greeted callers

Our first callers got straight to the point - we are here for the sweeties!

We now think that children only call at houses where they are known, rather that the English routine of calling in everywhere.
